Our Home : Korean Craft Archive 2025
Kunsik, in collaboration with artist Seoyoung Shin, oversaw the curatorial direction and spatial design of this exhibition.
The title <Our Home> evokes the idea of ‘home’ as a space where craft resides, while also suggesting that each artist’s realm of work can itself become their home. This exhibition brings together 21 artists, showcasing the landscape of contemporary Korean craft through diverse approaches that fluidly move between tradition and modernity. Scattered throughout the exhibition space are 34 stands, each a distinct realm shaped by the artist’s individual perspective. As beholders move freely among them, they naturally come to see how craft expresses itself within each artist’s vision. This exhibition serves both as a record of the present moment in Korean craft and an invitation to reflect on where it may be headed.
