Shelf No.(Shelf Number) is a wall-mounted shelf defined by its clean, understated lines. It began as an exploration of sculptural forms for poetic spaces, resulting in a piece that blends naturally into its surroundings. The black lacquer finish, created using Ottchil (traditional Korean lacquer), is a traditional finishing technique frequently used in Korean furniture from the Joseon Dynasty. It is valued for its refined depth and the rich, soft sheen that develops beautifully over time, while also offering strong resistance to water and stains, making it a durable and practical finish suitable even for tableware. The black lacquer finish of Shelf No. is crafted in collaboration with artisan Kang Heejeong, who has devoted many years to the art of Najeonchil (traditional Korean mother-of-pearl lacquerware). Shelf No. is easy to install, and each piece is delivered with all necessary mounting hardware and installation instructions.

쉘프넘버(Shelf No.)는 간결하고 편안한 라인을 가진 벽걸이 선반입니다. 시적인 공간을 위한 조형 연구에서 시작된 작업으로, 주변에 자연스럽게 스며드는 형태를 담고 있습니다. 흑칠은 검은색 옻칠을 뜻하며, 조선시대 고가구에서 자주 사용되었던 전통 마감 방식입니다. 특유의 중후한 멋과 사용할수록 깊고 부드러워지는 광택을 지니고 있으며, 식기에도 사용될 정도로 수분과 오염에 강한 실용성을 겸비하고 있습니다. 쉘프넘버의 흑칠은 오랫동안 아름다운 나전칠 작업을 이어오고 있는 공예가 강희정 작가와의 협업으로 만들어집니다. 간단한 방식으로 설치할 수 있으며, Shelf No.와 함께 설치에 필요한 하드웨어와 설명서를 동봉해 드립니다.
