Klassik

Classic reflecting the present
For this eyewear design, I approached from a contemporary perspective on what the present classic would be onwards. It was the process of designing an essential form of making the glasses exist without decorative elements. The rims of the glasses are designed to follow the contours of the face, based on the shape of the bones that surround and protect the human eyeball. Every element of the glasses is made of lightweight and durable titanium in the form of understated lines.

Pictorial >
I asked the independent practitioners who are making the current classics in their respective work areas to be models, then photographer Rah Insoo captured a day in their working space. We wanted to find a point between a documentary and a processed pictorial.
